APPLE SEEDS RELEASED 7.12.2011

Euforia, who spice alternative rock with progressive elements, finally release their debut album after they formed in 2004. Based in Rauma, Finland, they released their first EP titled “Lights” in 2008, which was well received by fans and gave Euforia direction to their musical style and encouraged them to continue performing.

The connective themes of the songs in “Apple Seeds” are the forcing need for taking a break and taking a breath, observing one’s life objectively and overcoming the challenges within. The title Apple Seeds refers to the opening song, “Guerilla Gardeners”, where a young person is spitting out apple seeds and wants to own the whole world. The presence of life is like a twisting knife in this young person’s stomach. As the album title also suggests, the songs can represent seeds spit out by the band, growing into new possibilities.

The album is produced by Pekka Alisaari and Euforia, recorded by Pekka Alisaari and Häiriö Piirinen, mixed by Markus Pajakkala and Mika Haapasalo, and mastered by Markus Pajakkala.
